Dear friends. Teddy has gone from this earth. Just after 12pm on Saturday he took his last breath. We really appreciate all the support from everyone. It has helped us get through this time. We really can't believe he has gone. We wish he was still here.
Teddy's farewell service will probably be Monday 2nd August, sometime through the morning. We are looking to have it at Macquarie Park. We will put up the exact times when we have them.
If you want to come to the service we would ask that you dress celebratory rather than solemnly. Also, we love and appreciate the flowers we have received but now we would ask people to consider donating to Reah at http://www.nkprojects.org/children-of-north-korea if you want an option other than flowers. This organisation is very close to our hearts.
With love, prayers and tears
Rejoicing in God's love
Mikey, Lil and Raphael

Hi Mikey, Lil and Raphael.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear that news.
I hope and pray that, as horrid this is (and I can't begin to understand that), you will still have the urge and strength and mission to strive to achieve the amazing goals you have set yourselves. You are incredibly talented and gifted people. Please let us all know how we can help you guys.
Love Jane, Dalkeith and Shenton Park :)
Dear Mikey, Lil and Raphael,
ReplyDeleteYou were in our thoughts and prayers all day today. We thanked God for Teddy's life at Unichurch tonight, and prayed for you all. So sad for you all, even as Teddy is happy with Jesus.
Love, Rory, Susan and St Matt's Unichurch
Dear Mikey, Lil and Raph,
ReplyDeleteWhat a brave little man. I am sure Teddy fought hard but He had other plans and is now safe at home. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mike and Lil,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this news yesterday.
Mike and Lil,
ReplyDeleteSaddness consumes me as I read, like you said it is saddness for you not for Teddy. May our Almighty Father comfort you all. I look foward to meeting Teddy on that great day when we shall all meet our King.

Weeping with you, yet rejoicing at your trust in the love of our great saviour and king. Much love in Christ...
ReplyDeleteI am in awe at the goodness and incredible toughness of God towards your precious family. My eyes fill with tears as I remember our last hug at graduation night as you shared the news of Teddy's life. The fact that you wrote "God is good" is an incredible testimony to me. Wish that like Teddy we could enjoy the blessing of God's presence without having to experience the pain of having to be a 'grown up' in this fallen world.
ReplyDeleteWe love you guys

Dear beautiful Lil, Mikey and Raph,
ReplyDeleteWe cry tears with you at the sobering fragility of a little life and we're amazed at how tiny Teddy has taught us so much more about life, our Father in Heaven and eternity. We are just so aching for you all, for what you've been through, and the journey you are still on.
Big hugs and love to you all,
Anna and Luke Buckle
We have just heard this news and read this blog and we are weeping with you. Truly we KNOW that these are dark days - but your little man goes to the Great Physician - to a place where there is no more crying or pain, no more tubes, tests and cannulas, no more struggle...just life in its fullness. These little babies that God has taken before us will run towards us with outstretched arms, just behind our Saviour, when He returns!!
ReplyDeleteWe will be praying for you in days to come. Love from Jen, Paul, Lydia and Miriam Richards (and remembering Angie).
